My name is Olivier Beroud and i am a Professionnal sport photographer based in Dijon, Burgundy - France

Born in 1982, I started photography in the middle of the 90's using the camera and lenses of my father before buying my own one in 1997. I started to cover motorsport event and get my first media credential in 1999. At that time I was working for a couple websites like Spiritof and totalmotorsport.

In 1999, I was in Magny-Cours when AMG-Mercedes was testing their brand new CLR. That was my first scoop and the first photo I sold. A few weeks later, the car became world famous , a couple flips in the straight line of the Hunaudieres during the 24hrs of le Mans wrecked the car. Again in 2000, I was in Magny-Cours when Reynard and ROC were testing their new LMP2 Prototype, a new scoop.

In 2001, I moved to Paris to study photo at the School of Photography of Paris, Icart Photo. 2 and a half years later, I was graduate with a book about the Bol d'Or race that I realized during a 9 months placement at the Edition Lariviere.

Holder of a French Motorsport Federation (FFSA) 2007 pass, I am covering the complete French Super Serie (GT, FR2.0, Carrera Cup, Clio, RC Cup, 206CC ...) but also historic events, 4 Wheel Drives races, FIA GT races and club races all around Europe. During the off-season, I am covering Ice Hockey.

Most of my shots are used for press release and magazines :

A big thanks to photographers who inspired me over the past 10 years or so : guys at DPPI, JF Galeron, John Brooks, Larry Burrows ....
